The recount will take place at the BoER offices located on the first floor of the Government Services Complex at 200 E. 4th Street in Woodbine. First, BoER staff will conduct Logic and Accuracy (L&A) testing on the main scanner. This ensures that the scanner is accurately counting each ballot cast.

Immediately following the L&A testing, BoER staff will begin the recount of all ballots cast in the November 3rd General Election. This will go on until 6:30 p.m. daily or until the completion of the recount, with the exception of a lunch break from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. If the recount is not completed by 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020, it will continue into Wednesday morning.

Two monitors from each political party will be allowed to view the recount scanning process from the BoER offices. To maintain transparency, a livestream of the L&A testing and the recount will broadcast through the Camden County website at: https://www.camdencountyga.gov/Recount.

Additionally, a link will be available at the top of each page of the Camden County website at https://www.camdencountyga.gov.

Pending the completion of the count, the Vote Review Panel (VRP) will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. The VRP adjudicates any ballots with questionable marks to determine the intent of the voter. A representative from each party will sit on the VRP along with a member of the BoER staff.
