The Camden County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants to fill the open consumer representative for mental health seat on the Camden County Board of Health.

The Camden County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants to fill the open consumer representative for mental health seat on the Camden County Board of Health. The seven (7) member board includes a representative from the Camden County Board of Commissioners, Camden County Schools, and the City of St. Marys, in addition to a physician actively practicing in Camden County, a consumer representative for mental health, consumer representative for public health, and a consumer representative for Camden County’s elderly community.

Qualifications for applicants include the following:

  • Must represent consumers of mental health and/or substance abuse services.
  • Must not be an employee of the Camden County Government or the Camden County Health Department.
  • Ability to serve a six (6) year term.
  • Ability to attend quarterly scheduled meetings at 12:00 p.m. at the Camden County Annex Building located at 107 N. Gross Road in Kingsland.
