Camden County: Public Health Warning

Camden County residents must take action immediately to avoid Community Spread of the COVID-19 Virus.

• It is imperative that each of our residents and businesses recognize that gatherings of 10 or more are placing the public at risk.
• It is equally important that our local business, specifically restaurants and bars, recognize that failing to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Georgia Department of Public Health guidelines jeopardize the safety of those who gather on their premises.
• Movement for the purpose of food and necessities, medical treatment, and work must and should continue unless directed otherwise. We also encourage everyone to use curbside pickup, drive-thru windows, and carryout options.  Many of our restaurants have these capabilities, or are adapting during this public health emergency.
• Your cooperation during this community health crisis is critical in reducing the spread of the COVID-19 Virus.

Our community may be faced with stronger, more restrictive actions if voluntary measures do not reduce the risk of exposure to the community, in accordance with CDC guidelines.
