Business Management Students at Ogeechee Tech Get Local Lessons in Loans

Amber Stewart, a Business Banking Officer with Renasant Bank, shared her wisdom with Ogeechee Technical College Business Management students during their Introduction to Business class on February 27.

The discussion primarily focused on the small business loan process, the value of Statesboro’s local Small Business Development Center, and the challenges presented by an unpredictable business cycle.

“For those of our students interested in the entrepreneurial path, insight into the nuts and bolts of starting a business from a potential funding source holds great value,” said Alex Harris, Business Management instructor.
