Bulloch County Schools is encouraging rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to apply online for the free EarthCare Leadership Summer Institute by March 15.
Sponsored by the Georgia Power Foundation, the week-long residential summer institute focuses on STEM and building leadership skills. It connects like-minded high school students in order to also help them explore careers in engineering and technology. The 100 participants who are selected will learn from industry professionals and community leaders.
This year’s EarthCare Leadership Summer Institute is June 11-16, at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville. Applicants do not have to have any prior leadership experience and no specific grade point average is required, just the potential and willingness to grow.
Apply online here. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by email and mail in early April. For more information, see the flyer below, or visit the program’s website here.
