Application for free or reduced school meals available now

Do you need free or reduced meal benefits for the new school year?  If so, get a jump start on your back-to-school preparations by applying online via this link https://www.myschoolapps.com.

All students applying for free or reduced meal benefits must complete a new application each year. The deadline for your school to receive your application is Sept. 14. Your school will provide paper applications as well the first week of school.

Our School Nutrition Department is ready to welcome students back to school. They had a successful summer feeding program and provided 12,531 meals to children during the month of June.

As you decide your child’s meal options at school, please remember this information:

• All students can eat breakfast at school for free.
• Consider using the MySchoolBucks mobile application  or website to manage your child’s lunch fund balance.
• Meal prices are $2.25 for elementary lunch and $2.50 for middle & high school lunch. Reduced-price lunches are .40 cents.
• School meal calendars are published on the Bulloch Schools  website.
