Statesboro Police Make Arrest in Murder Investigation

The Statesboro Police Department has made an arrest in a murder investigation on Friday.
The Statesboro Police Department has made an arrest in a murder investigation.
Patrol officers responded to a residence on Bea Dot Way just after 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The call said a male had been shot.
Officers and EMS responded and found 30-year-old Brandon McCray deceased in the home. Detectives arrived on scene and began processing the scene and interviewing witnesses.
The Statesboro Police Department says a thorough investigation and consultation with the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office resulted in the arrest of 25-year-old Ashlyn Griffin. She was subsequently charged with murder and remains at the Bulloch County Jail pending further judicial hearings.
