Travis Marquis Webb, of Statesboro, was located in Augusta and arrested Monday in a shooting investigation that occurred at Groover Homes in Statesboro this past June. He had active warrants for Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, as well as for Parole Violation. Webb remains at the Bulloch County Jail pending further judicial action.

Detectives investigating the 6/14/23 shooting of a 39 year old Statesboro man in Groover Homes received word that the suspect had been arrested. Travis Marquis Webb (39, Mikell Street, Statesboro) had active warrants for Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon as well as for Parole Violation. Detectives believed that he had fled the area and turned the warrants over to the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force for service. On 12/18/23, Task Force Agents located Webb at a location in Augusta, Ga and arrested him. Webb was returned to the Bulloch County Jail where he remains pending further judicial action.
