Statesboro Impact Team Makes Drugs & Weapons Arrests

That Statesboro Police Department’s Impact Team made four arrests Tuesday – each related to drugs and weapons charges.

According to the agency, the team arrived at an apartment resident in The Vault Apartments on Statesboro Place Circle on Tuesday. Officers made contact with tenants and developed probable cause for a search warrant, which was later issued by a judge.

Officers located MDMA, marijuana, and four firearms and made four arrests:

• Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon 
• Possession of MDMA
• Possession of Marijuana (less than one ounce)
• Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime
• Possession of a Drug Related Object
• Giving False Information to Law Enforcement
