SE Ga Road Work: Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory Through July 5

Georgia Department of Transportation continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia.  As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, June 29 through Friday, July 5.

July 4^th Independence Holiday Lane closure restrictions

• Independence Day holiday lane closure restrictions will be in place from Wednesday, July 3, at noon to Sunday, July 7, at 10 p.m. No interstate or major state route lane closures that restrict or interferes with traffic will be conducted during this timeframe. Motorists are reminded that safety concerns may require some long-term lane closures to remain in place during holiday restrictions. Also, incident management or emergency maintenance-related lane closures could become necessary at any time on any route.

All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.
