Death Investigation for Incident at Connection Apartments

Statesboro Police Department officers responded to a call at Connection Apartment Complex Friday night. Upon entering the apartment, they discovered a male and a female, each with a single gunshot wound.

The female, 17 year-old Jade Brady, was found to be deceased at the scene. The male, 20 year-old Ethan Alexander, later succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to Memorial University Medical Center.

According to SPD, “The incident is believed to be contained within the apartment and no other suspects are believed to be at large.”

Detective Tommy Brown with the Criminal Investigations Bureau is investigating the case. No further information is being released at this time.
