BCSO Launches Airworx Unmanned Solutions Drone Program

The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office has launched an Airworx Unmanned Solutions Drone Program.

The office says the program combines aerial technology assistance with traditional boots on the ground work that they use in various capacities. The drone will aid officers in situations such as a fleeing suspect, missing person, or other quickly unfolding events where multiple resources are needed on the scene.

These unmanned aircraft were purchased with a combination of seized drug and SPLOST funds.
