Three people have been arrested and another one is wanted by the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Team after a months-long investigation.
The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office says that an investigation was launched on Pleasant Point Road by the Crime Suppression Team after a number of citizen complaints over the last two months.
According to a news release issued Thursday, investigators made contact with four individuals on December 11, 2019 at a residence on Pleasant Point Road and were able to establish enough probable cause to obtain a search warrant.
“During the search of the residence, drug related objects, digital scales and over 4 pounds of methamphetamine, with a street value of over $30,000.00 was recovered,” the Office said Thursday. Three individuals were arrested at the scene and Joy Leigh Horton of Savannah, Ga is still being sought.
Hope Elaine Mitchell of Reidsville, Ga was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession and use of drug related objects.
Clifton Webb Pittman of Reidsville, Ga was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, parole violation, possession and use of drug related objects, and giving false information.
Clarence Ike Johnson of Statesboro, Ga was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession and use of a drug related object.
