Georgia Southern’s Eagle Baseball will be hosting their annual fundraising event to benefit the baseball program on Saturday, February 13. Due to regulations, this year’s event, Day at the Diamond, will be held outdoors at J.I. Clements Stadium. Gates open at 11:00 am.
There will be an Eagle Baseball Home Run Derby, Seven Inning Intra-Squad Scrimmage, and Games for the Kids. Lunch will be provided by Blue Mile Catering.
The featured speaker is Coach Ron Polk, who helped guide the Georgia Southern Eagles to the 1973 College World Series. Polk also coached at Mississippi State and has appeared in eight College World Series.
Everyone who purchases admission tickets is entered in a door prize raffle. A live auction will be held, with various items including a golf outing and couples getaway.
COVID-19 precautions will be in place and there will be limited attendance.
