UPDATE 01/25/2023: Chowder is now in rescue at Fixing the Boro. See their Facebook HERE.
Meet Chowder!
We first featured Chowder in August. He is still looking for a family of his own, so we are re-featuring him! As of today, November 30, he has been at the shelter for 267 days.
Watch this sweet video of him from last week:

August 24, 2022 –
Chowder is a total sweetheart. He is approximately 4 1/2 years old and 45 lbs.
He is up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, and has been neutered. He is heartworm positive, but it is treatable.
Chowder seems to be dog friendly. He is a love bug and will sit in your lap.
He has been at the shelter for 169 days as of today.
Chowder is available for adoption at the Bulloch County Animal Shelter. If you are interested in meeting him in person, contact the shelter at 912-764-4529 to make an appointment! Reminder: As part of a safety policy, visitors are required to wear closed toe shoes.
