Bulldog, Evan Walker’s bite is bigger than his bark

Evan Walker wears the #14 Trion Bulldog jersey. Walker is 17 years old and plays wide receiver, free safety and quarterback for the Dogs.

He stands 6’4” and weighs in at just under 200 pounds. In addition to being a standout athlete on the gridiron, Walker is currently being recruited as a pitcher by several colleges.

Walker’s max squat is 405 lbs, max bench press is 180 lbs and he runs the 40 yard dash in 4.8 seconds.

Walker is carrying a 3.0 GPA.

“Evan is a competitor.  The neat thing about him is off the field he is such a nice kid.  When he steps on the football field he becomes something else.  He is such an aggressive and physical player. He has been a great addition not only to our athletic teams but also to our school,” says Trion Head Football Coach, Justin Brown.

He is the son of Chad Walker.

evan walkerAll On Georgia: What inspires you to play football?

Walker: I’ve always wanted to be out there under the lights as a kid and there is no other feeling like being out there on the field.

All On Georgia: What are your other interests and hobbies outside of football?

Walker:  Outside of football I love playing baseball and expect to play in the next level at that sport. (Walker is currently being recruited as a pitcher)

All On Georgia: What are three words or descriptors to tell about yourself?

Walker: Physical, hardworking, and good teammate

All On Georgia: What advice would you give a young rec football player?

Walker: My advice to any young rec player is that don’t take a play off and have fun while you’re out there.

All On Georgia: What are your goals for this season?

Walker: My goals for this season is for our team to make it to the playoffs and I personally want to make the all-state team.

All On Georgia: Do you have a pre-game ritual?

Walker: Listen to music.

All On Georgia: What would be a perfect pre-game meal for you?

Walker: Hamburger steak because that’s all we get
