Rome loses 4-2 to Greensboro, despite strong start by Sanchez

A blown save, and a sluggish offensive outing cost the Rome Braves a win Friday night, losing to the Greensboro Grasshoppers 4-2 at State Mutual Stadium. Ricardo Sanchez got the Braves off on the right foot with 5.2 innings of work, giving up only one run on three hits. The recorded five strikeouts, walking three batters. Oriel Caicedo came in for the final 3.1 innings of the game, but gave up three runs. He was charged with the loss, and a blown save in the game.

Carlos Castro was the star of the show in an otherwise slow offensive night for Rome, going two-for-three, both hits solo homers.
