During Tuesday’s Dallas City Council Meeting, Joe Duvall (presently a Major at the Marietta Police Department) was named as the new Chief of Police for Dallas.
Joe Duvall, who is presently a Major at Marietta Police Department who oversees Uniform Patrol is a 31 year Law Enforcement veteran with a very impressive resume. Duvall states that he is excited about the new post and ready to start. He also states that he is thrilled, as a resident of Dallas, to get to be Chief of Police in his hometown. which “is an opportunity few ever have” according to Chief Duvall.
Duvall will take over his post as Chief of Police in Dallas February 1st.
