Toys for Tots Registration Dates Announced for Chattooga County Families

Chattooga County families who need assistance providing Christmas gifts for their children will have several opportunities this fall to register for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.

Registration will be held at the Summerville Recreation Center, on the following dates:

• Saturday, October 31, 2026
• Saturday, November 14, 2026
• Saturday, November 21, 2026

Registration will be available from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. each day.

The final day to register for toys is December 4, 2026.

According to the registration information, families may only sign up children who live in their home and for whom they have custody. Families who are already receiving assistance from another agency are asked not to register through Toys for Tots.

The Toys for Tots program works to help bring Christmas joy to children and families who may otherwise have difficulty providing gifts during the holiday season.

Families with questions about registration or eligibility are encouraged to contact Christie William, Chattooga Toys for Tots coordinator, at 706-859-1140.

Parents and guardians who believe their children may qualify are encouraged to take note of the registration dates and complete the process before the December 4 deadline.
