Congressman Fuller Votes to Pass National Defense Authorization Act

Congressman Fuller voted for H.R. 8800, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027, which funds the pay raise President Trump requested for America’s service members and authorizes $1.1 trillion for national defense. The NDAA authorizes funding for the Department of Defense and national security programs.

“I know what we ask of the young men and women who serve, and I know what their families give up while they are gone. Paying them what they have earned is not a favor. It is the minimum, and yet the Democrats continue to refuse to support them,” said Congressman Fuller. “A strong national defense is essential, and we cannot let the radical left continue to put American citizens at risk.”

205 House Democrats voted against the bill, and against the pay raise inside it.

The FY2027 NDAA backs the President’s proposed pay increase for every rank, with the largest raises going to junior enlisted troops. Congressman Fuller will continue to fight for our service members and their families each and every day.
