Round 3 is HERE

Today is epic. Here’s a quick guide for what you need to know for football Friday:

The Send-off:

All On Georgia is organizing a grand send-off for the Chattooga Indians football team, the band and the cheerleaders at 1pm today at the new softball complex parking lot.  The Indians will be departing to Atlanta for the 3rd Round of the AA State Playoffs promptly at 1pm.

Everyone is invited to be at the high school at 1pm to show their support and send the team, cheerleaders and band off in style. Posters, banners and other signs of support are encouraged.

The Game:

Friday night’s 3rd Round State Playoff game between the Chattooga Indians and the Hapeville Charter Hornets will be played at Banneker High School Stadium located at 6015 Feldwood Road in College Park.

Directions to Banneker High School

This trip is, under best conditions, about an hour and 45 minutes from Chattooga High School. This is Black Friday, the single busiest shopping day of the year and Banneker is located in the southern part of metro Atlanta, near the airport. Please plan according.

If you can’t attend All On Georgia will be live-streaming the game and Hops n Haze will be showing the broadcast on their big screen.

Who:
The Indians Roster is packed full of talent, here’s a brief look at some of the impact players you need to know.
The Foster Twins if you don’t know these two yet, what rock are you living under?
CJ Martin, for the first time in Chattooga’s history, the Indians have a consistent kicking game. Hitting field goals beyond 40 yards used to be a thing of myths, now it is a reality.

Tyler Griffin, an explosive linebacker with a nose for the football and perfect tackling form. Griffin on defense is a game changer for the Indians.

Armand Money Ford, is the anchor for Chattooga’s offensive line.

Big Mike Adams, standing 6’3” and weighing 311 lbs., Adams is hard to miss in his #52 jersey.

Dustin Pope, towers over opponents at an imposing 6’6″ and tips the scales at a little over 300 lbs. He is the starting left tackle for the Indians.

Here is a brief introduction to the entire 2016 Chattooga Indians and coaching staff.
