Brinley’s Dog Park Opens in Trion

Today was a big day for Brinley.

This morning, family and friends gathered to honor the memory of Ms. Brinley Alexandria Corbin, a Trion young woman who loved her community, her pups, and the people around her. The love that filled today made one thing clear, she is not forgotten. Not even close.

The day began with a bench dedication at Hurley Park, made possible by the generous hearts of several teacher friends of Brinley’s mom, Staci, who came together to purchase the bench in her memory.

From there, the group made their way to the Town of Trion’s official Dog Park opening at the Track Field — a park inspired by Brinley herself. Mayor Mickey McGraw and the Trion Town Council welcomed family, friends, and the surrounding community to celebrate what the day was always about:

“Brinley’s dream has now become a reality.”

A bench purchased by people who loved her and her mom. A dog park bearing her name. A community that showed up and meant it.

Brinley Alexandria Corbin was 26 years old when she passed on April 9, 2025. She left behind a dream — and today, Trion made sure that dream lived on.

Bring your pups, (there is a side for larger pups and one for smaller dogs). Share your community. Be kind. Celebrate Brinley.
