Berry Marketing Earns Design Honors
Berry College’s Office of Marketing and Communications has recently earned both state and national recognition for its creative and communication excellence. The team brought home four design awards from the University and College Designers Association (UCDA) and another from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Phoenix Awards, Georgia Chapter.

Berry’s winning entries were showcased during the 55th annual UCDA Design Conference this November in Pasadena, California, and the awards celebrated outstanding design work produced by and for educational institutions across North America.

Among the awards this year, Berry received a Silver Award and an Award of Excellence in the Brand Identity category for the design and implementation of the Viking Athletic Logo.

The Berry Journey campaign, which captures the unique student experience approach at Berry, earned an Award of Excellence and the Judges’ Choice in the Integrated Marketing Campaign category.

The communications team received an Honorable Mention in the Email Marketing and Newsletters category for its Segmented Campaign for Admissions Recruitment, a series of emails highlighting the personal stories of recent Berry graduates.

And finally, the Berry College Admissions Travel Brochure design received the PRSA Georgia Phoenix Award of Excellence in the category of brochures and print materials.

Reflecting on the announcements, Director of Creative Services Natorio Howard said, “Receiving multiple state and national recognitions from UCDA and PRSA Phoenix Awards is an honor and a testament to the dedication and creativity of our team. Each award recognizes our commitment to elevating the Berry College brand through thoughtful design and compelling storytelling.”

In November, Howard attended the UCDA Design Conference to celebrate these achievements and to continue building inspiration for future creative work at Berry College.
