The popular Terminus Wake Park in Bartow County announced that it will be closing at the end of the month, bringing an end to more than a decade of wakeboarding and cable park experiences.
While park officials did not provide specific details about the reason for the closure, they said the decision comes with plans to celebrate the park’s final days in a big way.
In a post shared on social media, Terminus Wake Park invited the public to attend a farewell celebration, encouraging longtime riders, families, and supporters to come together one last time and enjoy the park.
The closing event will feature food trucks, a bounce house, special acknowledgments, and opportunities for guests to ride the cable system before it shuts down.
On the park’s final day of operation, the cable course will be open to the public from noon until 3 p.m., after which current and former staff members will be given time to ride and reflect on their years at the park.
Park organizers urged the community to “pack this place out” and help close out what they described as 13 years of memories, friendships, and wakeboarding fun.
