Thomas gave up two hits and one run over seven innings while walking four. Chattooga Varsity Indians got on the board in the bottom of the fifth inning after Alexis Womack drew a walk, scoring one run, and Addie Veatch hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs. Veatch led Chattooga Varsity Indians with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Bella Burdick, showed the depth of Chattooga Varsity Indians’s lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. Josie Gazaway and Burdick each stole multiple bases for Chattooga Varsity Indians. Chattooga Varsity Indians had a strong eye at the plate, amassing five walks for the game. Chattooga Varsity Indians stole six bases in the game. Chattooga Varsity Indians were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error.
