Sealed Bid Notice
Pursuant to an act of the legislature HB No.414(Georgia Laws 1956, page 2899 as amended), the Chattooga County commissioner is taking bids to purchase the following:
Hauling of Solid Waste to Gordon County Landfill from Chattooga County Transfer Station
Bids should be submitted on a “per-ton” basis. The contract will begin on September 15, 2025, and end on August 31, 2027.
Bids must include all taxes, fuel surcharges, and any other applicable fees or charges in an itemized format separate from the “per ton” disposal fee.

Bids must be sealed with the words “Sealed Bid” written across the outside of the envelope and received in the office of the Chattooga County Commissioner located at 10102 Commerce St., Summerville, GA 30747 on or before 10 am on September 12, 2025; at which time bids will be opened.
The Commissioner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
