Chattooga High School’s HOSA (Future Health Professionals) traveled to Covington, Georgia, for Officer Jumpstart this past weekend. Officer Jumpstart is a fall training for chapter officers across Georgia HOSA. Over 580 members from across the state attended this day-long conference, participating in four workshops. Chattooga’s HOSA president, Brinley Thomas, led one of these workshops about communication and collaboration within an officer team. She spoke to over 580 members and led the conference. This was an educational day for all the Chattooga HOSA officers. When asked about this experience, Brinley said, “The day was filled with passion and excitement. I loved speaking to the members of Georgia HOSA and impacting future health professionals around the state.”
