Two individuals were arrested this week after an investigation and search warrant at a residence on South Mulberry Street. Bulloch County Crime Suppression Team investigators and K9 deputies discovered marijuana, prescription pills, psilocybin mushrooms, US Currency, and numerous firearms and edged weapons. David Elijah George was charged with Sale of Marijuana, Unlawful Use of Communication Facility, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule I with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Firearm or Knife During Commission of Certain Felonies, Possession of Drug Related Objects. Taylor Edward Thornhill was charged with Possession of Schedule II and Possession of Firearm During Commission of Certain Felonies.

The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Team (CST) conducted an investigation into the illegal sale of controlled substances occurring at and around a residence on South Mulberry Street in the city limits of Statesboro, GA. The investigation led to a search warrant being obtained and executed on 04/21/2025 by CST Investigators and BCSO K9 Deputies. The search warrant yielded quantities of marijuana, prescription pills, psilocybin mushrooms, US Currency, and numerous firearms and edged weapons. As a result, the following persons were arrested and taken to the Bulloch County Jail:
David Elijah George
o Sale of Marijuana (4 Counts)
o Unlawful Use of Communication Facility (4 Counts)
o Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
o Possession of Schedule I with Intent to Distribute
o Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Distribute
o Possession of Firearm or Knife During Commission of Certain Felonies (6 Counts)
o Possession of Drug Related Objects
Taylor Edward Thornhill
o Possession of Schedule II
o Possession of Firearm During Commission of Certain Felonies (5 counts)
