Coach Brian Beasley Inducted into National Wrestling Hall of Fame

Over the weekend at the GHSA state tournament in Macon, longtime wrestling coach Brian Beasley was officially inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame – Georgia Chapter as part of the Class of 2025.

Beasley, who has dedicated 33 years to coaching and athletic leadership in northwest Georgia, was recognized for his Lifetime Service to Wrestling.

His career highlights include leading the Chattooga Indians to a GHSA state championship in 2020, earning NWCA Southeastern Region Coach of the Year honors, and coaching 23 individual state champions.

Reflecting on the honor, Beasley shared, “Hard to believe! Being selected by your peers is special. This whole process has been a reminder of how blessed I’ve been! Amazing relationships along the way!”

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame – Georgia Chapter will hold two official induction ceremonies this year:

  • May 4 – The Venue at Friendship Springs, Flowery Branch (North Georgia)
  • August 3 – C.C. McCray City Auditorium, Waycross (South Georgia)

Beasley joins a distinguished group of inductees who have made a lasting impact on the sport across the state. The Hall of Fame, headquartered in Stillwater, Oklahoma, honors individuals who have dedicated their careers to growing and preserving the sport of wrestling.
