AdventHealth invites the community to kick off Thanksgiving with the Rome Turkey Trot and Feel Whole 3K Stroll on November 28, 2024, at AdventHealth Stadium. The festivities start at 9:00 AM, featuring a 5K race on a USATF-certified course, ideal for serious runners aiming to qualify for the 2025 AJC Peachtree Road Race. The event promotes health, wellness and community spirit while benefiting Northwest Georgia Hunger Ministries Inc.
The Turkey Trot offers awards for top finishers across various age categories, as well as a festive atmosphere with music, refreshments and a fun costume contest for all ages. Families and casual walkers can participate the “Feel Whole 3K Stroll” for a relaxed, non-competitive experience. Strollers and leashed dogs are also welcome.
