Dublin Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault Near Brampton Avenue

Nigel Green of Dublin was arrested Friday evening for a shooting that occurred at a residence near Brampton Avenue.  A man was found inside the residence with a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was transported to EGRMC for treatment. After getting a statement from him at the hospital, Statesboro Police Department detectives determined the incident stemmed from a personal dispute. Green was charged with aggravated assault.

On 8/2/24 at 5:30 pm SPD officers responded to an apartment in the 1100 block of Brampton Avenue for a male shot inside of a residence. Officers located the adult male and determined that he had a single non-life threatening gunshot wound to the torso. The male was transported to East Georgia Regional for treatment where he provided a statement to detectives.

Detectives determined that the shooting stemmed from a personal dispute. Nigel Green (23, Dublin, Ga) was arrested on scene and charged with Aggravated Assault.
