A Georgia teenager lost both of his legs after being hit by a train in Rome early on Friday morning.
According to the City of Rome Police Department, officers were called to the railroad crossing at E. Callahan Street around 3:44 a.m. after getting a call about someone being passed out on the train tracks.
When police arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy who had been hit by a train, resulting in both of his legs being amputated.
