Chattooga County Coroner: McElhaney and McGill Runoff Election

McElhaney and McGill will compete in the runoff election on June 18th

In the Chattooga County Coroner’s race, Jeremy “Big Mac” McElhaney received the highest votes but did not surpass the 50% threshold to avoid a runoff election. McElhaney received 49.42% of the vote with 1820 votes.

The runner-up, Savanna McGill, received 1177 votes, with Carrie Blackwell and Heath Hammond coming in third and fourth, respectively.

McElhaney and McGill will compete in the runoff election on June 18th.
