$10 Microchip Clinic this Saturday

$10 MICROCHIP. Sponsored by Walker County Animal Control. Open to all. No residency requirement

Walker County Animal Control Is sponsoring a $10 MICROCHIP clinic this Saturday from 10 am – 1 pm.  Open to all.  No residency requirement.

Please see the flyer below and tell your family and friends!

Microchips are the quickest and most efficient way to ensure your pet makes it back home in the event they get lost. Accidents happen. Doors are left open, gates blow open, and you never know when it may be your dog or cat that escapes. It is a quick procedure, similar to a vaccine and our shelter staff can implant the chip in a jiffy!

Walker County Animal Control will provide you with the information on how to register the chip and there are no additional costs, after the initial $10 chip fee!

You do NOT have to be a resident of Walker County!

Walker County Animal Control will be set up in the old Family Dollar parking lot @ 311 S Main St in LaFayette. They ask that you pull in and park and PLEASE leave your pets in the vehicle until we come to you. All dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be contained in a carrier. This is for everyone’s safety!

Walker County Animal Control will also be giving out free wet cat food to help the kitties in our community! Please be sure you are spaying and neutering your cats! They reproduce quickly and start at a young age! Walker County Animal Control can help you find low-cost vet clinics in the NW GA/Chattanooga area!
