Shopping, Education & Fun this Saturday at the Critters Crusade Christmas Market

TMMA Farms and Summerville Main Street will present the Critter Crusade Christmas Market at J.R. “Dick” Dowdy Park on Saturday, November 11. This special event will run from 10:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. Event goers may enjoy holiday shopping from over 30 vendors, while supporting and meeting many animal rescues and sanctuaries from the region.

Licensed animal rescues, rehabbers and sanctuaries, along with arts and crafters, food and sweets and treats vendors will be ready for a fun filled day of education, fun, holiday shopping, and more. A few of the Animal Rescues that will be on site include Wildlife Center of North Georgia, Possumbilities, Southeast Llama Rescue, Sunkissed Acres, Sanders Wildlife, Wildlife Tails, Waddle On Inn, Furry Purrs, Save The Horses, Perry’s Promise, Freedom Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary, Bully Smiles Inc., and the Chattooga County Animal Advocates.  

Event attendees are asked to please remember and leave your pets at home. There will be many different species of animalsfor children and adults to learn about and enjoy at this very special event. These special animals may not feel comfortable around pets.

Children will have the opportunity to be assisted by an Elf in writing letters to Santa. There will be a special mailbox on site for sending the letters to Santa immediately following the event. An Old Fashioned Cake Walk and special giveaways are also scheduled during the day.

Participating vendors will be donating 15% of their total sales of the day to be distributed equally to all the 501C3 organizations that are part of this event. This free community event is a fun and unique opportunity for holiday shopping, while supporting your favorite animal rescue.
