Bryan Co: Temporary US 280 Signalized Intersection Relocates Nov 5 to Permanent Hyundai Plant Entrance

The Georgia Department of Transportation will relocate the temporary U.S. Route 280/State Route 30 signalized intersection Sunday, November 5 from the current location at the Hyundai Construction Entrance to the permanent plant entrance near Olive Branch Road in northern Bryan County.

The temporary signals should be fully functional at the new location by late afternoon, weather permitting. Local law enforcement will handle traffic control during signals relocation. Message boards will be in place near the intersection to alert motorists of this new traffic signal location.

Motorists are always advised to proceed cautiously through intersections, but most certainly so on Sunday during relocation and activation, and for the days to follow as drivers become acclimated to the new signals’ location.

Advisory: Exact time may change due to weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, stay alert, and watch for workers. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions.
