UPDATE: ADOPTED – Adoptable Pet of the Week: Josie

UPDATE: After being at the shelter for 347 days, Josie was adopted on Jan 3, 2023!

Meet Josie!

Josie is an adorable boxer mix girl that is approximately 2 years old and 45 lbs.

She is up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, and has been spayed. She is also microchipped. She is heartworm positive, but it is treatable.

Josie is currently in the Fostering Freedom program, which is a wonderful canine/inmate training program in Bulloch County where dogs from animal services are trained. Check them out on Facebook HERE and see Josie’s posts. She loves the program and has learned so many new things. She will be graduating soon and ready for adoption.

Josie and her friend Freckles, who is also an adoptable pet of the week this week.

Josie has been at the animal shelter for 271 days as of today. She was shy at first, but loves people and is enjoying life now. The only thing missing is having her very own family.

Josie and Freckles are ready for Trick-or-Treat
