The Paintbox School of Art will soon open a children’s art studio in Summerville.

The Paintbox School of Art will soon open a children’s art studio in Summerville. The Paintbox School of Art will be located at 221 Economy Street (where the old Goody Barn was located) in Summerville. The opening date set for mid August/beginning of September.

Paintbox School of Art is a process art studio for children to come and be creative while learning in a Reggio inspired atmosphere.

Paintbox School of Art will offer process art experiences for different age groups.

“We will offer a unique preschool education, toddler time classes, mom’s morning out/drop-off, after school classes, camps, and birthday parties,” owner of Paintbox, Candace Goggins said.

Children will explore many different art mediums. Painting, drawing, weaving, sculpting, printmaking, felting, sewing, and knitting is just a few of the many mediums children will explore. Early enrollment for classes will begin soon.

“Children will find joy through art exploration,” Goggins said.

“We can not wait to share the magic of process art with Chattooga County,” Goggins said.
