Georgia Department of Transportation continues to improve highway infrastructure throughout Southeast Georgia. Major projects of interest that will likely impact traffic next week Sunday, December 15 through Saturday, December 21 are listed below.
All work is subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.

Also note that Georgia’s Move-over Law requires drivers to move-over one lane when a law enforcement, emergency vehicle or construction crew is on the side of the road and displaying flashing emergency lights. If it is unsafe to move over, then slow down below the posted speed.
