Summerville Fire Department recognizes 5 with lifesaving awards

Summerville Fire Department had their annual Christmas party last night and all retired firemen were invited back to celebrate. Five firemen were recognized for their actions on a medical call, that resulted in the man’s life being saved. Those firemen were Josh Shelton, Scott Lewis, Adam Lathem, David Emory and Leroy LuAllen, Jr.  They each received the lifesaving award for their exceptional contribution. Also awarded were Justin Rhinehart with the Firefighter of the year award which is voted on by members of the department.
