From Glynn County Schools on 6/18/20:
Based on the negative test results that we have received from our food service employees and the established guidelines set forth by our local health dept, we are able to resume our Summer Lunch Program on Friday, June 19 from 11 a.m. to noon.
Food preparations will be handled at each of the five sites to help lessen the impact on the program should an employee test positive for COVID-19 in the future.
We will continue to follow the same food safety protocols and daily temperature checks that have been in motion since the beginning of this pandemic, and will remain diligent in our cleaning, sanitizing and social-distancing measures to ensure the safety of our employees and all of those who utilize this service.
We are proud of these frontline heroes, and recognize the enormous sacrifices these individuals are making on a daily basis to feed our communities. As always, we thank you for your patience and your partnership during these truly exceptional times.
