Th Claxton Tigers traveled to Bryan County Friday and picked up the region win. Robbie Lane pitched a complete game shutout against their region rivals winning 4-0. Lane was in control the
whole night striking out 8 batters and needing only 85 pitches to complete the task. The offense was led by Landon Hendrix and Hayden Morris as they collected two hits apiece. The Tigers scored
one in the first two in the sixth and one more in the seventh. Bryan County only threatened in the 5th with two runners on, but Lane got a lazy fly to center to end the threat. “Robbie is pitching
like a seasoned vet right now”, said Head Coach, Andy Yanzetich. Next Games are Tuesday at Tiger Town (6pm) and Friday in Sylvania against Screven County(5:30pm).
