Driftwood Beach Ranks Among Top 10 U.S. Beaches for Third Year

For the third year in a row, Tripadvisor has named Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island one of the Top 10 beaches in the U.S., highlighting its “picture-perfect” scenery and iconic driftwood along the shore.

This year, Driftwood Beach moved up to No. 7, improving from No. 8 last year. Siesta Beach in Florida claimed the top spot on Tripadvisor’s Best of the Best Beaches list, based on traveler reviews.

Jekyll Island, which welcomes over 3 million visitors annually, recently celebrated the opening of a new Public Safety Complex for fire, EMS, and the Georgia State Patrol.
