With a 5-1 vote, the Douglasville City Council voted to publicize proposed alterations to the city’s charter.

Using the Douglasville Attorney’s Office, the City Council has moved to present possible changes for public review, but not all the council members are in favor of the proposed changes.  While LaShun Burr Danley was unable to attend the meeting, Councilman Mike Miller was the sole nay vote.  Miller seems to think that the changes may inadvertently negatively impact the council’s rights as a governing board.
