Glynn Academy Graduate gets appointment to US Military Academy

Glynn Academy’s graduate, Bliss Hutchings was one of the students in the state that was appointed to one of the US Service Academies by U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA).  Friday Perdue announced the appointments of 18 Georgia students nominated by his office to the United States Service Academies.

“Over the years, these young women and men have excelled in academics, shown a high level of physical fitness, and demonstrated the moral and ethical values it takes to succeed in our Armed Services,” said Senator Perdue. “Now, they will spend the next four years preparing to lead America’s soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines. This is a testament of their willingness to face challenges, deal with adversity, and serve our country. I have no doubt they will rise to meet the challenges of our time. Congratulations to these students on achieving this high honor, and thank you to their parents, families, mentors, and everyone who helped get them to this point.”
