Wanted- Man sought in shooting considered ARMED and DANGEROUS

Wanted- Glynn County man suspected in shooting considered armed and dangerous.

The Glynn County Police Department is asking for assistance in the search of a third person in connection with a shooting of two people shot in their home on Sunday.

According to Brian Scott, Chief of Staff of the Glynn County Police Department, police responded to a report of a shooting Sunday morning at 5:00am.  When officers arrived on the scene in the 100 block of Jessica Lane, they found the residents, Thomas Jones and Laura Pina shot multiple times.

The victims stated that three males came to their house over a dispute about money. When Thomas and Pina would not let the men inside, they began shooting into their home. The men then fled the scene in a vehicle.

Just before noon on Sunday, the Glynn County Police Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Easy Street in connection with this incident. At that time, they found 38-year-old Glynn County resident, Thong Huyns and 35-year-old Glynn County resident, Anh Nguyen.  Both suspects were arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and additional charges may be forthcoming.

Police are still searching for 36-year-old Glynn County resident, David Tran. David has active arrest warrants for Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime. Tran is described as an Asian male, 5’07” in height and weighing 130 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and a goatee. Tran is homeless and is known to frequent the Altama Avenue area. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
