Monday morning shooting leaves Brunswick man in critical condition

Glynn County law enforcement looking for information in early Monday morning shooting.

The following is a press release by The Glynn County Police Department regarding a shooting in Brunswick.

According to Brian Scott, Chief of Staff:

On Monday, December 3, 2018, at about 12:30 AM 32-year-old Glynn County resident Wayne Honester arrived at the Southeast Georgia Health System – Brunswick Campus Emergency Department with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was driven to the hospital by associates.

Mr. Honester was transported via helicopter to U.F. Health Jacksonville where he remains in critical condition.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on this incident to contact the Criminal Investigations Unit at 912-554-7802 or the Silent Witness line at 912-264-1333.
