Former Vice President Joe Biden is planning to come to Georgia to campaign for Stacey Abrams’ bid for Georgia Governor.

Biden is expected to come to Atlanta next Thursday to help Abrams’ secure the base of her party.

Kemp had a visit from Vice President Mike Pence in July in Macon, and the endorsement of Trump, which caused him to surge ahead of Lt. Governor Casey Cagle for the win.

Abrams defeated her opponent, Stacey Evans, in the primary, winning more than 75 percent of the vote statewide and carrying all but six of Georgia’s 159 counties. Abrams was also strong in Georgia’s rural areas Democrats have grappled.

According to ABC News, Biden plans to campaign in states where the Democrats think Republican seats are vulnerable such as Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
