A Bartow County man was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats after he threatened to drive to a Rome man’s house and “beat his eyes shut,” reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Bartow County man, James Jeffrey Hackney, 44, of 405 Maple Ridge in White, was arrested in Cherokee County, Georgia, on Wednesday and taken to the Floyd County Jail. He was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats after he threatened to drive to a man’s house and “beat his eyes shut,” according to arrest report.

After collecting 14 pages of threats and harassing messages and threatening voicemail recordings, the Floyd County Police had issued a warrant for Hackney’s arrest.

 

Hackney is being held in jail without bond.
