Chattooga Middle School Lady Indians took the field at the new high school softball complex in their last home game of the season Monday against the Rome Wolves. This game was also 8th grade night for the Indians. And Chattooga did not disappoint, the Indians prevailed 6-4 after taking the lead for good in the fifth inning. The game was tied at four with the Indians batting in the bottom of the fifth when Kayleigh Byars singled off of #1, driving in one run.

Clara Wyatt earned the win for Chattooga Middle Indians. She threw one inning, surrendering two runs, one hit, striking out one, and walking one. Evans recorded the last three outs to earn the save. Ramsey Elrod started on the mound for the Indians. She tossed four innings, giving up two runs, two hits, and striking out four.
Ella Hurley, Evans, Kayleigh Byars, Katie Williams, and Emma Marshall each drove in one run to lead Chattooga Middle Indians. Chattooga Middle Indians tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Williams led the way with two.
